The Walks
The Winston’s Wish Sunrise Walks are sponsored events open to both men, women and children aged over 8 years old (we also welcome dogs too on our walks)! The events will start before day break, on a route of ten miles with participants walking into the sunrise.
Gloucestershire, Saturday 17th September 2011
The Gloucestershire walk will begin and end at Cheltenham Racecourse and will take a circular route, along stone paths, farm tracks and through rural terrain. The route is undulating, including several ascents and there are a number of stiles along the way around. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside, Malvern Hills and nearby towns along with numerous points of interest are assured

A linear walk following stunning coast line throughout, from Littlehampton to Lancing.
You might want to walk to celebrate the memory of someone special, enjoy a unique challenge with friends or set yourself a fitness goal; whatever your reason, you’ll be raising vital funds to give bereaved children the support they need to build positive futures.
At the start of the walk there will be a few minutes for participants to remember someone important, make a wish for the future or just have fun before the walk as part of a colourful light parade.
Each walker will receive a special Winston’s Wish Sunrise Walk T-shirt, goodie bag and a well deserved breakfast at the finish.
