Volunteer

The Winston’s Wish Sunrise Walk is open to anyone, 8 years and over, who feels they can complete the ten-mile or five mile walk and raise money for Winston’s Wish.However, if pulling on the walking boots isn’t for you, then there are many other ways you can help us make the walk a stomping success.

We need volunteers at both events in West Sussex and Gloucestershire to be marshals along the course, help with registering participants, distribute goodie bags, and serving breakfast at the end of the walk.

Volunteer for the Winston's Wish Sunrise Walk 2012


I would like to volunteer to help at the Winston's Wish Sunrise Walk on:

Saturday 15th September in Gloucestershire
Sunday 23rd September in West Sussex
Let us know which tasks you would be willing to do. You can tick more than one. Please note that whilst we will do our best to match you with your preference it may not be possible for everyone to work in the area they specify. If this is the case with your application we will contact you before the event to discuss where else your talents may be required!
I would like to help with the set up for the event
I would like to help with registering participants before the walk (from 4am - 6am)
I would like to be a marshall on the course (5am - 11am)
I would like to check walkers back in at the end of the walk (from 8.30 am -12pm)
I would like to help serve breakfast and help clear away at the end of the walk (from 8.30am - 2pm)
